Orthopaedics

At Flinders Private Hospital we specialise in the surgical and non-surgical management of orthopaedic conditions.

We have a dedicated 42 bed orthopaedic ward with specialised nursing and allied health professionals working together to provide the optimum in health care for our patients.

Postoperative orthopaedic rehabilitation can be done in the convenience of the patient’s own home. Patients are directly referred to the program by their orthopaedic consultant prior to leaving hospital.

Rapid Knee Assessment Service

A fee applies for non-insured patients. Priority access will involve a clinical assessment by an orthopaedic surgeon, and if required, an MRI scan of your knee. The surgeon will review the results and devise a patient treatment plan which may include physiotherapy, fast tracked referral to a sports physician, or surgery if required.
